A practical educational program about Drake's equation.

For many years there has been speculation about the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations and some sort of possible communication with them. But it was not until 1961, when by means of mathematical formulas that can be put on paper by hand of Frank Drake, President of SETI, that this became reality.

To understand these mathematical formulas and better understand this equation, in a fun and visual way, they’ve created this curious application, called Optimus Drake. In this application you will find a number of factors that, hypothetically, show the possibility that we will have to make contact with an extraterrestrial civilization.

Optimus Drake allows us to investigate this equation, through a visual program adapted primarily to schools who want to explain to their pupils these astrophysical factors, using the Drake equation to prove their theories. With this program you can finally understand what the Drake equation is based on.
